This is it. My last post from Europe. After much cleaning we finally finished up our flat in Cork. I tell you i'm really not keen on the idea of moving again after cleaning our whole flat. Maybe we should have hired some people but, eh. Anyways, we got our full bond back and yesterday headed up to Clonmel to stay with Matt's aunt and uncle. The one thing i'm pleasantly suprised about it that Halloween actually exists here. Some of you may remember my lamenting over previous years that i've been abroad for Halloween that England doesn't really celebrate it. Well, Ireland definetly DOES! The shops have been chock full of costumes and face paint. Matt's family here is really into it and have put candles out in the yard and the kids are even trick or treating! Amusingly enough some pikey kids showed up at their door at 9:30am and after receiving 1 piece of candy each asked if they had any money. Ha. The one main difference i will say i'm noticing is that the costumes here are completely based on fright and scaryness, whereas in the US, Halloween is an excuse to dress up as anything (scary or not) or just for some people (girls) to walk around half naked. I may go out with the kids tonight although i'm short a costume and it's quite nippy here to go out in a bedsheet a la toga style. Tomorrow we head to Dublin and off we head to Germany and then after a 4 hour layover on to Singapore. Well as time costs money and i'm short of that, i'll cut this entry short for the moment. Speak to you all soon from the other side of the world.

xx
Lindsay
