Summertime here is proving to be wonderful. The weather is constantly great and it's the perfect tempeture. One thing i have to say that i'm loving about Auckland is the constant outdoor events. Everytime we've gone to the park there's either big some big concert or like recently, a huge festival. Last weekend was the Chinese Latern Festival to celebrate the end of the New Year. Albert parked was decked out and Matt, Amy and i (and Cait and Osh) went to check it all out. Talk about being packed--it was so crowded yet so much fun. I mean really how can you not have fun with candy apples, giant lights and really, really, really bad karoke?
Here's a few pics from it:

The other recent fun activity was watching Caitlin jump off the Sky Tower. Remember the lovely Sky Tower which we can see from our place? We've now seen it white, red and currently a lovely green and purple.
Here all lit up
Well, you can jump off it--all 630 ft of it (that's 192 M for you metric people) for a mere $200. Osh, Matt and i assembled our selves next to the target (you jump off and rapidly fall towards a target) to watch Caitlin hopefully not plummet to an unfortunate death. For us scaredy cats, we thought she was crazy, but she said it was so incredible and by far the most amazing view of Auckland you'll ever see (which i don't doubt).

Well kids that's all for now.
Mwah!
